Our Head of the Fam, Stephen Crocker, often called Krosswordze “God”. The reason is very clear when you listen to any of his rhymes.  Besides the raw power of Kross’s commanding voice, his rhymes contain every facet a hip-hop fan could possibly be looking for: wisdom, wit, humor, obscure references, puns upon puns, double and triple entendre, alliteration, switch-ups, high-speed rhymes, low speed gut punches, other various percussive styles, and (displayed more than anything) heart heart HEART.

And we cannot fail to mention that his freestyle game comes just as hard and feels unbelievable that it is being made up on the spot until he begins referencing everything going on around him.  This is a rapper who deserves nothing less than legendary status, though his humility would never agree with that statement. His talent comes from years of work and the diligent study only a true hip-hop head can understand. Why does he do it? This is best explained by Krosswordze himself in The Lone Gunmen’s track Reasons, “The reason I do it is for the love of the music; The reason I do it is to touch and influence, to open several chapters in the book of life, discuss the pain and problems through the hooks I write.”
