Lindsay Keane is our artist most rarely seen without a smile on her face.  She exudes a true kindness and warmth that often gives the impression that she is a care free spirit, and while this is a part of her Truth, it is in her music and writing that we see the many layers to her life experience and emotions.  When Lindsay sings live, it is often chilling as you can feel her meaning and experience.  She leaves her pain, sorrow, and triumph on the stage or the page, and often gathers her strength and encourages others to speak and feel their own Truths after experiencing the comfort of feeling hers.

Though Lindsay is soul/R&B/Hip-Hop artist, when asked her greatest influence, she will always state “Bob Marley.”  Lindsay is also rarely seen without some form of Bob Marley or Rasta memorabilia on.  She says this is because it always reminds her to keep her integrity, consciousness, and spiritual intention in everything she performs and creates. These intentions are also a large part of her partnership with her sister and role as VP of LVLRN records.  In her song from the LVLRN 2015 mixtape, Lindsay makes a promise to Stephen Crocker, “Not gonna dumb it down, not gonna play around, life is precious and I see wisdom in the words we speak. If you don’t recognize, break on through the other side.  I’m never gonna compromise, I’m telling you I’m Lovelorn for Life.”
